Plate Skates

These plate skates have been designed for easy handling of heavy flats and boards. They are ideal for get ins and get outs especially when the truck can not get right up to the dock doors. Just use one plate skate in the middle of the boards and the hinge mechanism tightly grips the boards or flats while the two stage crew can easily steer the scenery to its final resting place. Unlike dollies with swivel wheels the plate skate has no tendency to kick off sidwards. It will take thicknesses up to 56mm (three sheets of 18mm ply or two average flats). The load capacity is 250kg via 2x150mm diameter white nylon wheels.
