A concentrated fireproofing liquid that is suitable for use on natural fibre fabrics, paper, cardboard, and timber. It is a clear colourless liquid based on inorganic salts that is odourless after application. None of the compounds contained in Fax is listed in the German regulation concerning dangerous working materials. One of the attractive features of Fax is that it is supplied concentrated so it utilises less storage room and is easier to transport. As a rough guide to coverage the maximum amount needed is equivalent to 1 1/2 the wt of the material to be treated. 1L of Fax weighs just over 1 kg.
