This saturation technique involves applying Deks Olje D1 coat on coat to obtain maximum absorbtion whilst the oil is still active. The place for D1 is in the wood not on it. It will give a silken finish. A gloss finish can be obtained by a final treatment of D2. Coverage is 1-1.5sq metres per litre. Allow three days after applying D1 before putting the yacht into service or treating with D2.

Warning: If oil softens your caulking do not use Deks Olje.

This is the optional top gloss for the D1 saturation oil. Apply six coats. Allow at least 12 hrs between each coat. Sanding between coats is not necessary. Covers approximately 15 sq metres per litre each coat.
