Flints Multi Purpose Primer Black (5L) (PAT117) Flints waterbased primer is ideal for painting steel, plastics and wood. It is an excellent safe substitute for black etch primer providing a strong finish simillar in appearance to satin powder coating. The water base ensures that there are no unpleasant fumes. This product will provide a lasting protection for steel. The surface must be free from grease before applying. Like other water based products it takes slightly longer to fully cure than solvent based primers. Flints primer is often used for masking out the back of BP screens for silhouette effects.
