Formetal is the original novel aluminium sheet product which combines the smoothness of a punch metal sheet with the formability of expanded mesh. The sheet can be stretched and shrunk easily by hand allowing armatures to be made with ease. Formetal can be moulded around objects without puckering. The material has a great decorative potential when left exposed or it can be clad with the Jesmonite system or glass fibre resins. If Formetal is sandwiched between soft foam, the foam can then be formed into shapes which will be retained. It is useful for lightweight structural costumes as the material can be made to fit the body shape exactly. Available by the metre or roll in three thicknesses.
