This gelcoat has excellent weather and water resistance with low taint. If used with a fire retardant lay up resin it will comply with BS476 part 7. Add 2ml of catalyst per 100g of resin. This gelcoat is also widely used in the marine industry. Gel time 7-12 minutes. Water absorption 18mg. Tensile strength 75MPa. Tensile modulus 3.5GPa. Elongation at break 3%. Hardness 42 Barcol. Lloyds approved.
