No, not a helmet designed for ultra light work but a robust work helmet in black that weighs just 445g. Liquids and dust are redirected by rivets in the vent holes (for Peltor systems).

This helmet has all the features of the Vertex ST but with the chin strap conforming to EN12 492 the mountaineering helmet standard and not EN 397.

Meets all the optional standards of EN397 including lateral deformation, use at low temperatures [-30°C], electrical insulation, and molten metal splash.
Customizable with side slots for mounting hearing or eye protection. The cut of the shell allows for standard ear protection. Four headlamp clips.
Very simple adjustment.
Comfortable. Webbing suspension system and thick replaceable foam headband.

This ventilated helmet has all the features of the Vertex Best but extra ventilation for working in hot environments.
It also does not meet the optional molten metal splash standard due to the vent holes.

Available in red, white and black.

Conformity: EN 12 492, UIAA, ANSI Z89.1-2009 Type I Class C: Meets the requirements of the EN397 and EN12492 standards for protection against impact. Meets the optional requirements of the EN397 standard for lateral deformation and use in low temperatures.
