Head Protection General Information

For work at ground level the helmet must come off easily if snagged. The chin strap, if fitted, must release at 25daN, around 25kg. It must conform to EN397. For work at height the helmet must remain on the head during impact and the chin strap must withstand more than 50daN and conform to the mountaineering standard EN 12 492.

This helmet has all the features of the Vertex ST but with the chin strap conforming to EN12 492 the mountaineering helmet standard and not EN 397.

Meets all the optional standards of EN397 including lateral deformation, use at low temperatures [-30°C], electrical insulation, and molten metal splash.
Customizable with side slots for mounting hearing or eye protection. The cut of the shell allows for standard ear protection. Four headlamp clips.
Very simple adjustment.
