These ferrules have been developed to provide an effective means of securing a loop in micro cables. The ferrules are round in shape and made from copper. They can be easily compressed by using the Type 17BA tool. The combination of this economically priced tool and these micro ferrules solves a very old problem concerning the termination of stainless steel micro cables.
Tests show that these terminations exceed the strength of the wire. Ideal for invisible control and display wires.
If you have not used the Nicopress system before we would recommend you do a couple of trial crimps first to familiarise yourself with the method before undertaking the task in hand.
