Flints can supply most types of varnish but we specialise in the traditional tung oil based varnishes which are simple to apply and easy to maintain. They are less liable to fracture than the glass-hard two-part types which won't move with the wood. | Owatrol is a verstile paint conditioner and rust inhibitor. When mixed with oil paint or varnish it adds extra penetration and wetting action and most usefully it extends the wet edge time to eliminate brush marks and laps. It is also used widely in shipyards to effectively protect steel against corrosion. Very highly recommended. |
