250mm long made from 5mm shock chord with a hook fitting on one end. Stretches to approximately 450mm. Widely used for stretching boom covers to guard rails but also useful for keeping springs of the the varnished gunwhales by hooking them onto a lower guard wire. When used at the mast they can provide extra security to hanked up halyards ensuring they don't unhitch and go overboard. They will also stop the frapping from halyards by clipping the standing part to a shroud. Excellent value as we sell tens of thousands of these every year!
