A very strong braided cord. Useful for trip lines and lacing. Nylon has high stretch characteristics when under heavy load. [If stretch could pose a problem then choose polyester or dyneema]. Ends can be sealed with a hot knife. Available in black and white. Polyamide and Nylon are two names for the same product, the word NyLon being a mixture of New York and London where the product was simultaneously invented.
