Paint Plus Hard-Kote

An acrylic high-solids coating specially designed for set construction. This is a new coating that we have been testing. When wet it feels quite gritty and may require some mixing prior to use. When applied to polystyrene it forms a rock solid coating light brown in colour but can be easily painted with Paint Plus or Rosco paints. The coating is so hard that it is impossible to pierce it with a finger nail or to dent it by hand. Although the finish was very hard it also remained flexible and was extremely difficult to break [impossible by my hands!]. We were very impressed by the results. Suitable for use on polystyrene, concrete, brick, wallboard, plaster, wood, chipboard amd plywood. Use on interior or exterior surfaces. Can be applied with a gloved hand, stiff brush, trowel or a hopper spray gun.
Minimum recommended film thickness 1mm, maximum 3mm per coat. Extra strength can be obtained with more coats. Touch dry in 1hr, recoatable in 3hrs. Full water resistant cure may take several days.
Impart impact and structural strength to lightweight construction materials such as polystyrene.
