These pearl powders can be mixed with a binder such as emulsion glaze to provide a glistening pearl effect. If mixed thinly it allows the base colour to shine through. A thicker mix over a pale background will provide a solid pearl effect. Non-toxic, fire retardant and will resist temperatures of up to 800°C but if your scenery gets that hot you should have other things on your mind.
