Skinsil Fast Set is a long lasting silicone rubber that can be applied directly to the skin to make moulds of the face, hands and other body parts. It is supplied in a 454ml cartridge tube system which mixes the product as it is being dispensed. The rubber cures quickly and will reproduce much more detail than using alginate. The mould can also be used for repeated castings using plaster, resins etc. Skinsil will not stick to skin although it will mechanically lock onto hairs. Body double release cream will make releasing easier. Once the mould has set it should be coated with Vaseline, and a Gypsona plaster bandage support shell should be made.
