These hand operated units are useful for dragging or hoisting heavy items of scenery or equipment and are also often used for creating tension wires. They have neither wheels or gears but two jaws alternately pull on the wire just like hauling a rope by hand. The Range starts with the Jockey, then the 500 series and finally the TU for unrivalled sturdiness. The special wires are supplied separately and are fitted with a safety hook on one end.
