Stage Equipment

Flints hire our own stage weights and braces. The stage brace is an extendable brace used to support lightweight scenery, normally secured to the flat using a 55mm screw eye. Stage braces are available with open lengths of 2, 3 or 4 metres. Our stage weight (above left) is a 12.5KG weight made of cast iron. They stack easily on their location lugs and have slots which let them sit safely on the stage brace. Flints also hire 10KG counter weights, sand bags (weighing approximately 3.5KG) tank traps (below left) for the temporary erection of scaffold frames and boom arms, and rehearsal doors.
