Mica is an inert complex silicate which forms naturally in thin transparent layers.
It makes an interesting sparkling decorative finish which can be easily fixed by sprinkling onto wet PVA adhesive or glaze.
These flakes are slightly larger than the others and could be good for imitating fish scales.
