Basic Pulley Blocks For Fibre Ropes
Choose your basic block from the list below and add your preferred brackets which will be supplied fitted to your block.
The sheaves are plain bearing lubricated nylon and are profiled grooved for fibre rope.
Doughty's recommended sheave sizes:
12 mm fibre rope or 4 mm wire rope =100 mm diameter sheave.
18 mm fibre rope or 6 mm wire rope = 150 mm diameter sheave.
18 mm fibre rope or 6 mm wire rope = 180 mm diameter sheave.
[However ABTT stipulate diameters not less than 8 x for fibre rope].
